Severed Hand, Sheverash Tower
(AR5401-AR5404)
There are four levels in this tower.
Monsters: Kaylessa, Shadowed Elven Archer, Shadowed Elven Swordsman, Shadowed Orc Grunt, Shadowed Ogre, Wraith Spider.
Areas of Interest
- Kaylessa Kaylessa (554, 539) has the final piece to the Astrolabe. In order to get it, you'll have to do her a favor: kill her elven warriors so that they might die in battle, rather than wasting away in the tower. You'll also see two locked doors in this area; pick or bash them to gain entrance. Behind the northern door you'll find shadowed orc grunts and a container (428, 205) with gold. Behind the eastern door you'll find a shadowed ogre. Once finished, go to level two.
- Exit This exit returns you to the Severed Hand level four.
- Exit This exit takes you up to level two.
- Exit This exit takes you back down to level one.
- Exit This exit takes you up to level three.
- Battle Upon entry to this area you will be attacked by shadowed elven swordsmen and archers. Kill them, then search the table (630, 252) in the northern part of the room for a Beltyn's Burning Blood scroll.
- To Labolas Tower You'll see a passage leading west--don't enter it yet, as it leads to Labolas tower. You're being thorough, remember? Take the stairs to level four first.
- Exit This exit returns you to level two.
- Exit This exit takes up to level four.
- Battle Here you will see three doors. Open them and kill the wraith spiders that attack you. Take the door all the way to the right and on a table (699, 490), you'll find some gold and a book about the Hippogriff Riders of the Hand. Once finished, go back down level one and talk to Kaylessa for 52,500 XP. She'll ask you for one last favor, which is to die in battle like her comrades. Kill her and search her body. We found the last piece of the Astrolabe, Boots of Speed, and Chainmail (AC 2, +1 dexterity, 20% cold resistance). After speaking with her, you're ready to go to Labelas Tower.
- Exit This exit goes back down to level three.
