Customizing the Game
The specifications for custom sounds and portraits in Icewind Dale have changed from those of Baldur's Gate. The small portrait is two pixels smaller in both width and height. Also, many more sounds were added per sound set. Below are outlined specifications for portraits, sounds and scripts. The customization materials submitted for Baldur's Gate can be found in our downloads section.
Portraits
Do none of the portraits coming with the game suit your fancy? Change them!
Sounds
Like portraits, sounds can be changed to saitsfy your whim.
Scripts
Customized artificial intelligence scripts can separate to novice from the master player, as well as providing you with much more intelligent NPC companions.
