Dark Alliance | Help | Walkthrough | Wind's Walk
Wind's Walk

After stepping through the teleportation gate, you find yourself at the Sunset Mountains. Now you must find out why the gates are tied together. By now you should have all the skills you need to face almost any enemy you come across. As with Act I, remember to save often, search all areas, buy and sell often, and loot as much treasure as you can. Your main objective here at Wind's Walk is to get down the mountain and find the dwarven mining camp. This will be your base of operations for Act II. For now, you cannot use a Recall Potion until you find the camp. As you make your way down, beware of dead ends that might be full of monsters in tight quarters. Also, the yeti and ogres throw rocks from a distance and can deal heavy of damage if they strike true. Make your way down, saving at the only pedestal about midway, and enter the dwarven mining camp at the bottom.

Monsters: Gnoll, Gnoll Captain, Mountain Yeti, Ogre

  1. Starting Point: This is where you start and has the teleportation gate that brought you here from Baldur's Gate. You cannot go back through the gate so just start making your way down the mountain killing everything and plundering.

  2. Save Pedestals: These are the save pedestals. Use them often and with multiple slots in case of disaster.

  3. Entrance to the Dwarven Mining Camp: You made it to the bottom, now enter the mining camp. This will be your base of operations for Act II. You will be able to buy and sell, get quests, and recall to the camp once you enter.
