Dwarven Mining Camp

The dwarven mining camp is your home base of operations for Act II. This is where you can buy and sell goods with Branoch and receive quests to do from Torrgeir. When you use a Recall Potion, this is where it will take you. Take a good look around and then do some shopping. Then talk to Torrgeir and get your first quest.

Monsters: None

  1. Starting Point: This is where you enter the mining camp and is the exit to go back to Wind's Walk. Why you would want to go back is another question. For now, go save your game and then do some shopping.

  2. Save Pedestals: These are the save pedestals. Use them often and with multiple slots in case of disaster.

  3. Branoch: Your source in Act II for buying and selling is Branoch. Being this is Act II, you will notice that he sells better armor and weapons than Bartley did in Act I. Don't forget to pick up some Recall Potions if you don't have any.

  4. Torrgeir: Your source in Act II for quests is Torrgeir. When you first talk to him, he tells you all about the troubles with the drow elves. His clan had to seal the mines to keep the drow at bay. The leader of the camp set off to the Burning Eye Mountain to light a signal fire to get help from other clans and has not been seen since. Here is your first quest. You must find him and get the key to the mines. Later in Act II, Torrgeir will give you another quest to retake the mines from the drow. When you are finished talking to Torrgeir and have done your shopping, head to the Mount Burning Eye to find the mine key.

  5. Entrance to the Dark Forest: Later in Act II, you will be able to enter the Dark Forest here.

  6. Entrance to the Mines: Later in Act II, you will be able to enter the mines here.

  7. Entrance to Mount Burning Eye: This leads to Mount Burning Eye, the heart of your first quest.
