Dark Alliance | Help | Walkthrough | Mount Burning Eye Base
Mount Burning Eye Base

The base of Mount Burning Eye starts off as a wolf-infested, wooded area and gradually climbs up the mountain into a yeti-infested, icy area. Beware the yeti throwing snowballs at you. If one hits its mark, you will be frozen for a short period of time and move at half speed. Your only goal is to travel north to the entrance of the Summit. There is not much treasure here, other than the two areas we point out below. Go north and leave death in your wake.

Monsters: Gnoll, Gnoll Captain, Tundra Yeti, Wolf

  1. Starting Point: This is where you start your slow ascent up Mount Burning Eye and is the way back to the dwarven mining camp. Take out the wolves that attack you and head north.

  2. Save Pedestals: These are the save pedestals. Use them often and with multiple slots in case of disaster.

  3. Gnoll Camp: Right before it turns to the icy area, you will find a gnoll camp. This is the only area that holds real treasure. Kill the walking dogs and plunder the camp. Now continue north until you reach an area full of yetis. Kill them and head down southeast to a small cave.

  4. Cave: Inside this small cave is some gold and a few Healing Potions. Of course they are guarded by a pack of wolves. Kill the wolves and take the potions and head back north and enter the entrance to the summit.

  5. Entrance to the Summit: This leads to the summit of Mount Burning Eye, the next stop on your quest.
