Dwarven Mines Level 2
Level two of the mines is full of tough battles. Just the number save pedestals should be the clue. The female drow cast spells from all directions. Of course the drow archers are still there shooting at you as well. At the two campsites, drow riders bum rush you for big damage. Other than the fighting and plundering, the only real goal here is to make your way north to find the elevator to the drow underworld. Save often and recall back to the camp if you need to re-supply. Find the elevator and descend to the underworld.
Monsters: Drow Archer, Drow Guard, Drow Female, Drow Rider, Huge Spider
- Starting Point: This is where you start the level two of the mines and is the way back to level one. Kill everything and explore everywhere. Make your way northward.
- Save Pedestals: These are the save pedestals. Use them often and with multiple slots in case of disaster.
- Blocked Passage: This passage is blocked by rubble. You will have to take the long way around.
- Small Camp: This is a small drow camp. This is the first time you get to fight the drow riders. Kill everything, loot the area and continue northward.
- Large Camp: This is a large drow camp. Very tough battles are found here because of the shear number of drow. There is no shame in retreating and coming back to fight when you can. Clear the area and head down to the drow underworld.
- Elevator to the drow underworld: Once you have made mincemeat out of the drow, head down to face them in their lair.
