Dark Alliance | Help | Walkthrough | Sinking Temple
Sinking Temple

The Sinking Temple is a minotaur lair. Scattered here and there are containers and chests. Don't let the minotaurs bull rush you because it hurts badly. Wind your way up northeast to the water stair and you will surprisingly see Sleyvas there.

  1. Starting Point: This is where you start the Sinking Temple and has the entrance back to Rotting Bog. Head northeast killing all to the entrance to the water stair.

  2. Save Pedestals: These are the save pedestals. Use them often and with multiple slots in case of disaster.

  3. Sleyvas: Standing next to the last Save Pedestal is Sleyvas. How he got there is still a mystery. The giant exclamation point over his head is the clue you need to speak to him. He babbles about you being a strong death bringer and then gives you information on how to get to the onyx tower. Listen to what he says and you will soon realize you cannot return once you enter the water stair. Last call for alcohol! This will be the last time you can shop with Sleyvas and Recall Potions will not work from this point forward. Sell off all the Recall Potions you have for extra cash and stock up on Healing and Rejuvenation Potions. Last chance to buy weapons and armor as well, so do try and upgrade to the best you can afford. Once you are done talking to Mr. Common Speaking Lizardman, enter the water stair to start the final phase of your search for evil in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

  4. Water Stair: This whisks you away to the Onyx Tower basement. There is no returning to this map or Sleyvas once you go. Make sure you are done shopping and have saved your game before entering.
