Ice Caves Level 3 - Ciraxis' Lair
This is it, the final battle of Act II. Here you meet the evil behind the Sunset Mountains, Ciraxis the White Dragon. Yes, A DRAGON!!! The second 'd' in Dungeons & Dragons rears his head to you in battle. Guarding the teleportation gate he lets out a thunderous roar, the epic battle begins.
Monsters: Ciraxis the White Dragon
- Starting Point: This is where you start and has the magically sealed doorway back to level two of the caves. If you did not save your game before entering, you are out of luck if you die. You cannot go back to level two.
- Ciraxis: Greeting you with a roar, Ciraxis the White Dragon guards the portal to the Swamps of Chelimber. Ciraxis is a tough customer, so don't think this will be a walk in the park on a sunny day in March. Not only does he have an impressive 1,500 hit points, he has several ways of attacking you. He bounces up and down to make ice boulders fall from the ceiling of the cave. Avoid these because they hurt a lot. He wing buffets you as he flies around to avoid your hits. He has a cold-breath-weapon that can kill you really fast if you get caught in it. On top of all of that, he is immune to any type of cold attack. Sounds hopeless? Of course not, you are the master of dodge and hit now. Fire attacks do 1.5 times the damage, so use fire spells and fire weapons. After he is finally dead, loot the chests in the area. Nothing else to do but enter the teleportation gate.
- Teleportation Gate: Enter the teleportation gate to be whisked away to the Swamps of Chelimber and start Act III. You face more undead, so have the blunt weapons of disruption ready.
