Rotting Bog
The Rotting Bog is nothing more than a fight fest. Other than what the monsters drop, there is no treasure to be found. If you want all the experience points you can get, make sure you walk over every inch of this place. The first half has the toxic gas spewing swamp zombies. The second half has the land sharks known as bulettes. Bulettes seem to be spawned from the bog when you step on certain areas, so be sure to walk all over the place to kill them all. Basically make your way northward and enter the Sinking Temple.
Monsters: Bulette, Guardian Bulette, Swamp Zombie, Swamp Zombie Lobber
- Starting Point: This is where you start the Rotting Bog and has the entrance back to inner keep. Head north killing all to the entrance to the Sinking Temple.
- Save Pedestals: These are the save pedestals. Use them often and with multiple slots in case of disaster.
- Entrance to the Sinking Temple: As you approach the entrance to the Sinking Temple, a gargantuan of a bulette pops up from the bog. How in the hell did he dig himself in? This sucker is huge. The guardian bulette is tough, so don't let him get to close. Use ranged weapons and spells to kill him and then recall back to Sleyvas. Do some shopping, saving and resting, then return here to enter the Sinking Temple.
