Factions
There are several factions in the game that can be joined. Follow the instructions to do so below.
Choices
- If you want to join the Dustmen, talk with Emoric in the Gathering Dust Bar. Emoric will send you to Norochj who will ask you to find a thief disguised as a Dustman. The thief is Ash-Mantle in the Southwest Hive. Deal with him, then return to Norochj for 750 XP. Emoric will send you to talk to Awaiting-Death for 250 XP. Then Emoric will send you to talk to Sere the Skeptic for 500 XP. After talking with Sere, Emoric will ask you to find Soego. After meeting Soego in the Dead Nations, return and tell Emoric about it. You will get 2,500 XP, and you can now join the Dustmen. If you join, you will get 2,500 XP, and Emoric will sell items and let you rest. If you tell Emoric that you are immortal, you will be forced out of the Dustmen.
- You can join the Godsmen in the Great Foundry. Talk with Keldor who will send you to make a weapon. First, talk with Nadilin to get your equipment. Then, talk with Thildon to get ore. Now make an item at the forge and return to Keldor for 8,000 XP. Keldor will ask you to investigate a murder. Talk with Alissa Tield about the murder. She will tell you about the three suspects: Thildon, Bedai-Lihn, and Saros. Speak with them, then go to Keldor to make you decision. You will recieve 10,000 XP and Keldor will ask you to convince Sandoz not to kill himself. Return for 12,000 XP. If you choose to join, you will receive 8,000 XP. Keldor will now sell items and let you rest.
- To join the Anarchists, talk with Bedai-Lihn in the Great Foundry. She will ask you to destroy the war machine. Ask the engineer about its weak spot, then sabatoge it. Return to Bedai-Lihn. If you ask why she didn't die, you will get 8,000 XP. She will ask you to kill Sandoz. Kill him and return for 8000 XP. She will ask you to get her a disguise to smuggle her out of the foundry. Talk with Nadilin to get the gear. Return to her for 8,000 XP. She will take you outside. If you ask her how to join the Anarchists, she will send you to Scofflaw Penn. Talk with Scofflaw Penn and he will ask you to kill Qui-Sai in the Civic Festhall. Kill him and return for 16,000 XP. Talk with Leena, who will ask you to kill Vorten. Kill him and return for 8,000 XP. You can now rest and buy items.
- To join the Sensates, talk with Splinter in the Civic Festhall. Splinter will now heal you and sell you items.
- To join the Chaosmen, first you need to be of a chaotic alignment. Then talk to Barking-Wilder in the Southeast Hive. Ask him to join for 1,000 XP and your membership.
