Castle Dungeon Level 1
(AR 9716)
This area is basically a big battle zone. Pull the levers described below and kill everything in sight. After the battle is won, proceed to level two.
Monsters: Minotaur, Neo Orog Marauder, Red Myconid, Troll, Umber Hulk, Wyvern
- Locked Door: This door (1153, 1024) leads to the area of the incarcerated monsters. It is locked, so you must either pick it with a thief, force it open with a strong character or have a mage cast a Knock spell. However you do it, just open the door and then pull the levers to the left and right.
- Left Lever: Pull this lever (1083, 1125) to open the cells to the left. This frees the minotaurs, neo orog marauders and trolls from their cells. Now go pull the right lever.
- Right Lever: Pull this lever (1290, 1037) to open the cells to the right. This frees the red myconids, umber hulks and wyverns from their cells. Now go kill everything in site. If you do not want to fight all the creatures at once, you can always pull the levers one at a time to fight half. Or with the door closed pull both levers. This will open the cells and the monsters will fight each other. After a while the only thing that should be standing are the trolls. Open the door and just kill the few still standing. You can also try to sneak in without pulling the levers. The area is trapped though, once a trap is triggered all the cell doors open. However you do it, kill them all or sneak past and proceed to level two.
- Exit to Level Two: This door (481, 214) leads to level two of the dungeon. It is locked, so you must either pick it with a thief, force it open with a strong character or have a mage cast a Knock spell. Once opened proceed to level two.
- Stairway: This stairway (1501, 1354) takes you back to the castle.
