Weapons

Weapons are a myriad lot in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II. In addition to the ones found in the original game, thrown weapons are now also included. While enchanted gloves are also considered weapons for the Monk, note that they are dealt with in the Armor section. Not all weapons may be wielded by all characters. Bows and other long range weaponry also take advantage of a new fire control system in the game. As with armor, randomly found magical weapons are rare and require that the player make the equipment themselves. Bartley the Merchant also sells a limited amount of magical weaponry in Baldur's Gate. Refer to the Item Creation section for further details on the upgrading of armor.

Below is a list of all types of weapons, their attack damage, applicable classes, and whether or not there is a purchasable magical version in the game. Note: the club is treated differently in upgrading and damage. They are the only weapons that may not be upgraded as it doesn't receive "grades" and Bartley the Merchant sells clubs of increased damage throughout the game.
