System Requirements

This page describes the hardware required to play Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast. Both AMD K6 and K6-2 computers will work. P120, P133 or P150 machines can run the game although some jerkiness is likely. 1 MB video cards can be used but expect video problems like mouse trails. Baldur's Gate shipped on 5 CDs while Tales of the Sword Coast covers 1 CD. DVD versions of Baldur's Gate with or without the expansion are also available.
