Customizing the Game
The specifications for custom sounds and portraits in Icewind Dale II have changed from those of Icewind Dale. The portrait sizes have changed. Also, more sounds were added per sound set. Below are outlined specifications for portraits, sounds and scripts. The customization materials submitted for Icewind Dale can be found in it's files section.
Portraits
Do none of the portraits coming with the game suit your fancy? Change them to anything you like.
Sounds
Like portraits, sounds can be changed to saitsfy your whim. Record yourself, your dog or favorite person from the TV or movies. The possibilities are endless.
Scripts
Customized artificial intelligence scripts can separate the novice from the master player, as well as providing you with much more intelligent characters.
