Adventurer's Guild
The Adventurer's Guild has been around almost as long as Baldur's Gate Chronicles and was the customization hub for the sites with an extensive chest of portraits and sounds. They also have a small role-playing community on their message boards.

Brian Hall created the editor BG Scriptor to simply the task of creating character action scripts in Baldur's Gate.
