Act III - The Marsh of Chelimber
Go through the south door to enter the Marsh.
Adderspine East
Speak to Sleyvas just south of where you start [1]. He will tell you of the Onyx Tower, and asks that you fight King Sess'sth. Sleyvas gives you the key to Adderspine Road East. If you need to buy or sell anything, go to his tent. When you are ready, leave via the gate [2].
Adderspine Camp
Rescue the Camp People
Talk to Arhan, Chief of the village [2]. He tells you more about the tower, and asks you to rescue his people from the Lizardmen. Go to the northwest corner of the camp and kill the Lizardmen to get the key to free the prisoners at the northeast corner [5]. Talk to the prisoners; one will say he idolizes the lady of the tower, the other is Kraethen, the Healer. He will give you an Amulet of Strength +4. Report back to Arhan to receive 200 gold and 2000 XP.
Revenge
Talk to Sephyria [3] near the center of the camp. She asks you to kill all the Lizardmen to avenge the death of her family. Kill all 15 Lizardmen, then go back and talk to Sephyria. She gives you 200 gold and a Ring of Rejuvination +4. (2000 XP)
House Cleaning
Talk to the man in the southeast [6]. Kill the Lizardmen near his house, then talk to the man again for 500 gold and 1000 XP.
Now go through the door at the north of the camp [7].
Chelimber Interior
Level 1
Enter the Interior [1] and fight past the spiders, kobolds, and Lizardmen to get the key [2] to the door at [3]. Kill the Lizardmen and Umber Hulk at [4] to get the key for the door at [5]. Beyond this door is an Umber Hulk and three Lizardman guarding the stairs to the upper chambers [6].
Level 2
Grab the key from [2] to open the door at [3]. Kill the Lizardmen and Umber Hulks to get the key at [4], then make your way to the door at [5], grab the key [6] to open the door to King Sess'sth's Throne Room. [7]. Save your game, then go in and confront King Sess'sth. Kill him and get Chelimber's Key, then return to Sleyvas.
Adderspine East
Sleyvas tells you of the Water Stair, and how you can use it to enter the Onyx Tower. He then gives you the key to open the gate to Adderspine East, and says to meet him at the Sinking Temple. Open the gate [3] and fight past the undead and rats to get to the Sinking Temple [4].
Sinking Temple
Note - You cannot leave the Onyx Tower, so make sure you are well stocked before you enter the Plane of Water.
Talk to Sleyvas, then enter the Plane of Water to enter the Onyx Tower.
Onyx Tower
There is no shortage of potions, arrows, or weapons in the tower. Be careful not to weigh yourself down with too much stuff, as there are no shops here.
Level 1
You come out of the Elemental Plane of Water in the basement of the Onyx Tower [1]. Fight the spiders and skeletons, then defeat the Iron Golem [2]. Grab the key to open the doors [3]. Go through the fire traps and kill the skeletons [4], then go through the door [5]. Kill the Iron Golem [6], take the key and open the last door [7]. Kill the Iron Golem and go up the stairs [8].
Level 2
This level jumps around a lot, and there are a lot more areas to explore besides the direct route listed here.
Go through the door [5], then through [6] to kill the Bronze Golem. Go through the door marked [7] and kill the Iron Golem [K1]. Grab the key to open a locked door [D1] and go to the door marked [4]. Kill the skeleton, Bronze Golem, and Spider, then exit the level.
Black Forge
Tip: Watch the walls - the stone panels with writing on them are secret doors. Some lead to other rooms, others lead nowhere, but skeletons and spiders will occasionally pop out of them.
Go into the Black Forge [1]. Find the secret door [2] and kill the spider to get a key to open the door at [3]. Kill the Iron Golem [4] to get the key to the door at [5]. Kill the Onyx Golem [6] to get the Onyx Sword (90-120). Kill the Umber Hulks [7] to get the key to the next door [8].
Talk to the ghost of Keledon, who was once the captain of Eldrith's army. He tells you about the battle and how Eldrith betrayed the Westering Sun army, then opens the path to the next level so you can confront Eldrith.
The door to Eldrith's Watch [10] will not open until you have spoken to Keledon. Go through the door, then save your game and exit [11].
Eldrith's Watch
Talk to Eldrith. When she is finished telling her story, she attacks. At first you can just strike and run, but then she will increase in size and start throwing magical blades at you. She cannot be damaged when she is charging up or using lightning attacks. One thing that may help is that she often gets stuck at the stairs, so you can run to the other side of the tower and restore your health, then run back and attack her until she falls.
