Brion was born in the Cloakwood to an Elven thief and a Human cleric. At a very young age, he felt a calling to serve Mielikki and to protect Her gifts from those that would destroy them,. To this end he sought out a powerful Ranger and, after much testing, the ranger found that the young half-elf indeed had the skills and abilities to become a ranger. For the next 10 years, Brion was taught not only the ways of the forest, but skill with weapons as well, notably the longbow and two weapon fighting style, both of which he excells at. It was during Brion's 21st summer that the ranger who had acted as a surrogate father to the half-elf was slain by enemies he had made while living as an adventurer. This caused Brion to swear a holy vow of vengence against the Zhentarim, those who had killed his friend. When he heard rumors of a Zhentish plot against the Sword Coast, he gathered his belongiongs and set out for the place of his birth. Brion appears much like a typical half-elf. He is 6'2" tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has long reddish browen hair and a beard, has light hazel eyes, and dresses in intricately tooled leathers. He carries his enchanted longsword "Moonglow" on his left hip and a long bladed hunting knife on his right. He also carries an exquistely crafted longbow, rumored to be magical, though this has never been proven, and a quiiver of arrows on his back. The remainder of his gear is carried in a traveler's bag slung over his shoulder. He is currently 34 years of age and carries himself as a seasoned adventurer would. He is always alert, sleeps very lightly and has exceptional hearing and eyesight, as well as being and expert tracker and scout.
