Character Name: Heimdall Battlehammer Player: Matt Altepeter Location: St.Louis Missouri, USA Class: Fighter Race: Dwarf Alignment: Chaotic Good Group: None Heimdall Battlehammer is a talented fighter of clan battlehammer, the clan of dwarves who recently reclaimed thier ancestral home Mithril hall from the Shadow Dragon Shimmergloom and his duergar "half wit toadies" (as heimdall is fond of calling them). Young by dwarven standards, Heimdall is a 102 year old, black haired, 4'10 dwarf, who is more muscular than most of his kin. Heimdall left his home, discontent with his endless routine of smithing. Although one of the best smiths in all of mithril hall, Heimdall was unhappy. He wanted adventure. He wanted excitement. He wanted to crack some skulls! So, leaving a note to his father and Bruenor Battlehammer, and after saying his farewells to Catti-Brie, Regis, and Drizzt, (but not to Guenwhyvar. Heimdall thinks that panther is just a big pussy), the intrepid young dwarf set out to find his destiny, wearing his own enchanted mithril armor, and his trusty hand crafted axe in hand. |

Character Name: Huruan Rockpike Player: Glen Prokopyszyn Location: Perth, Western Australia Class: Fighter/Cleric Race: Dwarf Alignment: Lawful Neutral Group: None Huruan Rockpike of Clan Rockpike, like many of the dwarves that called Citadel Adbar their home, took great pride in three things: his fighting skill, his crafting skill and his bloodline. The Rockpike line for generations had lived in Citadel Adbar; Huruan's father, his father's father and his father's-father's-father had all started their lives in it's great halls and all had lived up the the legacy of their bloodline. Huruan, as well as being a great fighter, also took great pride in his service to the dwarven God, Moradin, as a cleric of to his people. And like all of his dwarven kin, their hatred of the duergar was as strong as the mithral that they so loved to mine from the mountain that Citadel Adbar resided within. However it occasionally came to pass that the dwarves of Citadel Adbar and the duergar of the Underdark came to blows whenever one or the other would mine into their sworn enemies' territory. It was during one such occasion that Citadel Adbar almost fell to the combined strength of the duergar clans after a key mine shaft was penetrated by a duergar war party. The united clans of Citadel Adbar fought back with great strength and resilience against the coming storm of the united duergar clans and many a duergar fighter fell that month on the battlefield that was mines of Citadel Adbar. Huruan was there in the thick of it with his brethren and even under the toll of the many injuries that he and his kin alike had suffered during the brief war, he refused to let his responsibilities to Moradin and his kin alike rest until the duergar had been driven from the mines of Citadel Adbar once and for all. Eventually, with great losses on both sides, the dwarves of Citadel Adbar won and drove the duergar back into the depths of the Underdark. And Huruan Rockpike was there right until the last duergar had either fallen to the mithral axes of his kin or fled never to return again, proudly in the service of Moradin and his dwarven kin. |
