Tyia Tre'rian was brought up into her role within the house of Tre'rianshan Lokanzan, fourteenth family to the throne of Menzoberranzan; a house with moderate influence within the rivers of power that lead to the drow lords. Some suspected that a god had a hand in her inheritated power, but it was difficult for even the spider queen, Lloth, to assertain - but it was uncovered that the lord of murder, Bhaal, had a hand in your fate. So it was that Tyia was trained from youth to harness and use your innate power for your own desires, but she posed a great threat to all who saw the house of Tre'rianshan Lokanzan as a barrier to their agendas and path to greater power.

Eventually, three rival houses formed a temporarly allegance (as is all drow alliances, for they only ever last as long as their common enemy does) against the house of Tre'rianshan Lokanzan in order to 'remove' the threat that was your existance. The presense of a possible Bhaalspawn could not be tolerated any longer and a great battle ensured that brought about the near-complete destruction of the house of Tre'rianshan Lokanzan. Noble and servant alike were slaughtered, for etiquette among the drow demands that there be no witnesses.

The two remaining high priestesses, Tyia's elder sisters, still loyal to the fourteenth family to the throne of Mezzoberranzan managed to escape with Tyia to the outer reaches of the city of the drow and, with the aid of Lloth, teleport Tyia away from Mezzonberranzan to the surface so that she might live to bring about the reckoning that would be the eternal vengence of the house of Tre'rianshan Lokanzan.

Banished to the surface of a world that vilifies her very existance, Tyia headed out into the plains; the thoughts of revenge against the three houses that brought about the end of house Tre'rianshan Lokanzan remained still fresh in her mind ever after until she returns to the drow city of Mezzonberranzan to enact her vengeance...
