Character Information (long biography)

Everyone who ever met Sylian Edin said that he was a natural actor and showman. Unfortunately how they said it often reflected upon Sylian's unpredictable ways. Ever the gambler, there was very little Sylian loved more than to hear the sound of the coin clinking as it was handed to him after a successful win at the card table and the laugh of numerous female companions who ever flocked to his side, caught up in his charm and devilish wit. And true to his ways, Sylian would often get himself caught by the father, husband or lover of the woman whom he ensnared. And if it wasn't that pit he willingly jumped into that caught him, it was the
local jail he'd find himself in after casually insulting a passing local guard or noble of higher standing. But the adventurer in him would always win over in the end and as the nomadic soul he was ran strong, so to did his desire to not spend too much time in the one place.

Sylian's sole saving grace, if it could be called that, was his devotion to his friends. For while it was true that his ways would often end up dropping his friends and himself alike into trouble's ever waiting grasp, he would steadfast stand beside them and use all of his skills and talents of charm, wit, grace and swordsmanship to get them out of his mess. Though true to his ways, it couldn't be put past him to run away to live to fight another day...

Sylian's reckless abandon almost brought his downfall when he started tickering with the magical arts. During his time in Sundabar, Sylian took temporary employment (all work that Sylian ever did was temporary since he only worked to get gold which went straight into the nearest running card game) with a local mage as an aid to perform errands when required. Behind the mage's back however he took to study of the magical arts and began playing with spells of summoning; particularly in the interest of gaining a familiar. But Sylian was never spent much time with his markings of protection wards to shield him from what he summoned and his carelessness lead to a fire elemental breaking free of his wards and severely damaging his employer's tower. Knowing the dire
straits of his situation after succeeding in banishing the fire elemental back to its plane, Sylian took to the road once again with no regrets about what wraith might eventually catch up with him.

But then Sylian never was one to worry too much about the consequences of his actions...
