Spike was a member of an elite band of mercenaries, being the youngest he didnt have as much experiance as the other members but everyone knew that he was more capable than they. The group was comprized of fighters,ogres, elves, mages and a few reformed demons they had know eachother for years and were all origional members of the band.

Spike had a certain something that made him stand out from the others, a great presence some might say, his strengh and speed were way before his time and he himself had noticed that he was unlike the others.

Spike was an orphan, his mother died at birth, his father supposedly dead (he went missing after Spikes birth) his only family was a sister whom he had never met (people spoke of her as being a beutiful charming young lady with a silent strengh) but Spike had never seen her.

After being adopted by the locan inn owners (an elderly couple with little money but great influence) Spike began adventureing, on his own at first (foolish adelesence) but one day he was attacked by an ogre too powerful for him to handle, when it seemed like he was going to be crushed by the ogres giant hammer, an arrow of light appeared from the trees and struck the ogre between the eyes sending it to the ground, Spike looked up to see a group of people standing over him with an overwhelming presence, "Your lucky we saw you" it was a man who Spike would later know as his leader, his name was Grey Wolf, a very proud man with a great physical presence. After a rest and a change of clothes provided by the people who saved him Spike couldnt help but ask if he could join the group, without hesitation they all agreed, but Grey Wolf seemed to be reserved about the situation, never the less Spike joined and became a member of ELITE (the groups name). Spike said his goodbyes to his adopted parents and to his friends in his hometown, after which he set off with his new family to begin the first of their many adventures (which i will write about in detail)

On around the 3rd year of being in the group (Spike is now 20 years old, lost his juvenile looks and now bears a handsome face and has developed into a strong young man) the group recieved a distress message about a local town being attacked by demons who sleep all day and feed on the towns people at night, they were requested by the mayer to come and rid the evil for a handsome sum of money, the group accepted and travelled to the town of Lokkis, upon arrival the group were greeted with scared people fleeing from the shadows and nervous "hellos". The group entered the local inn, a plump man at the bar offerd them a place to stay and free food and drink in return for their kindness. The group slept well that night. The following day the group prepared for the night to come, Spike was nervous but at the same time confident that the group would easily dispose of the demons lurking below the in the caverns, the group spent a vast amount of money stocking up on weapons and armour in preparation for the fight with the unknown demons, they decided a few hours rest would do them well before they headed out. The decision to get some extra sleep was a costly one, the demons had found out about the groups arrival in town and had already prepared for an attack, while the group were sleeping, the demons made their way into the inn and began to tear into the group members with ease, some died before they woke, others tried to get to their weapons but to no avail, watching the masacre was Spike, frozen stiff with horror as he watched his teammates ripped limb from limb, he quickly gathered himself and made for the window, on his way out of the window one of the demons....
