Bio: Born in 1142 DR in Semberhome, Elven Court (Cormanthyr), Elric was taught the "ways of the woods" at an early age. As a youth he was recruited to join the Kirith (Ranger/Scout) which guarded the elven realm. His speed and hand/eye coordination made him an outstanding archer, even by elven standards, which fit in nicely with the way that the Kirith operate along the realms numerous borders.

To the disappointment of his mentor, he and his good friend Kellendil Aunglor, a fellow Kirith, decided that they wanted to see the world. Joining them were Elrics brother Eflin, a minor mageling and a mutual friend
Veronica Thaenya, a priestess of Aedrie Faenya.

Having no real usable coinage, the small group decided to take the land approach to Ravens Bluff, where they heard there was opportunities for caravan guards and the like.

In route through the Elven Court, they met up with another, larger band of adventuerers led by the warrior Roth Blackmoore. Roths group was known as the Silent Reign and included his brother Shadow (a thief w/magic ability), Bombo Underhill (a halfling thief), Drusilla Ironhand (an eccentric warrior), and Veluth Snowflower (1/2 elf warrior/mage). The group continued using the Silent Reign as their operating identity at that time. The group had several run ins with Tasoli tribes in the region before reaching the small hamlet of Avendell in the northern Vast Area.

In Avendell the group nearly met its end when they became embroiled in a Bandit Army raid on the town. The bandits had also stolen a powerful magical item which the village was to give the Storm Giant Trinas for protecting the village. In a pre-emptive strike on the village, the group met the Silver Dragon Ellesiir, who was in the area to ransom his granddaughter from the same bandit army. With the help of both Trinas and Ellesiir the group was able to defeat the Bandits entirely. However, Kellendil was killed in the action and couldn't be raised. This came as a great blow to Elric, since the two had been friends their entire lives.

At the end of this adventure, Ellesiirs granddaughter Dulsinar, agreed to travel with the group, in Gold Elf form. In addition the group freed another prisoner named Oldredd Blackhammer, who wound up being the crown prince of Citadel Adbar in the far away Savage Frontier. Oldredd also joined the group at this time, and since they now included the powerful Dulsinar, re-christened themselves the Company of the Dragon.

Elrics adventures with the group were nearly innumerable but were highlighted by; the destruction of the Temple of Elemental Evil in the Vast area, where a great number of Banites were also killed. Also, the crown prince Thrommel of Cormyr was also saved in the temple. The saving of the town of Phlan from another Banite Cult. The slaying of the Black Worm "Froth" in eastern Cormyr. The destruction of another Banite Cult in Cormyr, Fighting on the side of Thrommel against the rebel Prince Salember in the Cormyrian Civil War, and several campaigns and full fledged battles in the southern reach area, (Turnish etc) where the group foiled the numerous plots of an Archdaemon.

Among his other credits, Prince Thrommel of Cormyr, crowned King Rhigaerd presented all of the Companies members with lands and titles (Elric had the land placed in trust of the crown as a natural preserve known as the kings forest). Also upon his return to Elven Court Elric was appointed as an March Warden of Myth Drannor, an esteemed honor among his people.

What drew Elric to Baldurs Gate after the Times of Trouble was a plea from an old friend named Gorion. Elric had met Gorion in his many travels and had adventured with the mage for a while. What disturbed Elric the most, was the unusually fearful tone of Gorions message. In addition he was informed, at that time, of a certain youth which had been in Gorions care for some time…………
