"Bar Flies"

Everyone who hangs out at the Copper Coronet (this party loves a good time!)

Medial Soupcon (pronounced 'Soo--sawn' - the 'p' is silent, the 'c' is pronounced like an 's', and the accent is on the second syllable) is often asked about his strange name. He then launches into a long-winded story about his great-grandfather on his mother's side and her relationship with a Drow Dwarf. He is then interrupted by questions about there being no such thing as a 'Drow Dwarf.' Medial changes the subject to his shipwrecked adventure on the Fallen Sea Cape. When told that the Cape was not an island but a peninsula, Medial rants on about his latest musical composition, "The Black Mages of White Pine." About this time most people drift off...

Medial also has another problem: he is deathly afraid of being polymorphed into a squirrel. It seems that as a youth, he was once punished by a very unhappy mage after Medial had been caught 'borrowing' some of his reagents. The punishment was that Medial got to play in the trees for about two weeks with some very squirrely friends until his mother finally found him and changed him back. Since that traumatic experience, he is been ever vigilant in his search for the Necklace of Form Stability. If found, this would insure that any such inhospitable polymorphing would have no effect. And then (and only then), could he pay another visit to that wizard...
