The Graveyard of Illusion

On a small hill overlooking the quiet village of Imnesvale is a small graveyard dedicated to a special band of wanderers. These unfortunate souls have all met an untimely death while on various quests throughout the region of Amn. Though their backgrounds may vary, their skin colors may differ, and their beliefs fall into different realms, they all share one common bond and one common fate: this hardy breed of travelers choose to travel the roads of high adventure alone, with neither companion, friend nor escort of any type for company on their lonely trek.

They have also taken the 'Vow of the Stoics' in which they have requested any friends or kin to NOT resurrect or revive them should they be killed in battle or fall to disease, curse or any other affliction they happen to incur. No second chance for this small but intrepid group of free spirits. "Dead is dead" one was heard to say, just prior to her final and fatal journey to the Lighthouse.

Desecrate not their tombstones nor their names, for many still have friends and family who miss them dearly. For even though their dreams and hopes may have been masked by the false hope of illusion, their deaths were all too real and grief still haunts the valley of the living.

Plots are still available should you have any remains you wish to deposit here; just contact the caretaker Suomi, who will respectfully and quietly honor your request.

The Tomb of the Unknown Adventurer

In a far, dark corner of the cemetary a small stone stands in honor of those travelers whose names and backgrounds have been lost to memory. Yet their achievements live on and provide inspiration to those who may follow.

A Halfling Thief who was the first to make it to the Cloakwood Forest unscathed---but fate intervened in the form of dark Etterlings and brought her dreams to a crushing halt in the deep forest of Cloakwood
