Mokin Glott

"The Protector"

The Half-Orc Barbarian Mokin Glott must protect the (almost) helpless Nalia, Imoen and Aerie from the horrors of the world.

Mokin Glott is the classic story of a bad Orc gone good. As a youngster, he raised havoc in his home, in his village and pretty much everywhere he went. Mokin was certainly headed for an early disaster until one fall day when his mother and sister were killed by some dark Rangers who happened upon their village during one of their many raids. Mokin blamed himself for this tragedy although it seemed unlikely that he could have done anything to prevent it. Instead of attending the small village school near his home, he was out stealing apples from a nearby orchard. When told about the tragedy, he blamed himself for not being closer where he could have protected his family. After the funerals, he left the village never to return and has since devoted his life to helping others.

The opportunity to protect the three weakest females in Athkatla from the evil Irenicus seemed to him to be the 'right thing to do.' Mokin was not the sharpest tool in the shed so while he spent most of his time growing up clubbing vermin and assorted vagabonds, he had little time to learn other skills. His attack skills, however, grew so great that he was able to wield a massive club in both hands, inflicting huge damage upon his opponents.

While not protecting his charges, Mokin has been searching for the famed club Blackblood. This massive and powerful weapon was wielded by one of the dark Rangers who were responsible for his family's death. Should Mokin run across these enemies, he is likely to attack first and ask questions later. Last reports had them roaming about the Ulmar Hills.
